Analysts at GAINSystems (www.GAINSystems.com) are primarily responsible for supporting the implementation of consulting recommendations and the GAINS Supply Chain Optimization software application. Reporting to the VP of Customer Services, the Analyst's duties include the following:
Work closely with fellow implementation team members, implementing new business process architecture (business and functionality requirements, application/system configuration, front-end workflow optimization, business reports provided from the system)
Manage GAINS Input and Output Data processing via application of ASCII, Access and SQL
Work closely with IT resources to define, test and ensure resolution of GAINS technical/product-related Customer Service Requests (CSRs) &/or internal product testing issues.
Provide assistance as required with configuration, training, testing, and operational deployment
Participate in designing product development specifications to improve GAINS functionality
Qualifications
GAINSystems is looking for candidates with the following attributes:
Must have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills in English.
Strong problem solving and analytical abilities required. In particular, quantitative capabilities in the areas of Statistics, Operations Research and/or Econometrics.
Microsoft SQL and Access expertise (or proven aptitude to acquire such)
Direct experience working with complex Excel / database models a plus.
Foreign language aptitude, especially in French, German, &/or Italian, is beneficial.
